Nepsis Travel gives everyday travelers the threat awareness executives get from their security teams.
Our mission
Verified risk assessments, clear guidance and practical habits, open to anyone who travels.
Corporations hire security teams to brief their executives before every trip: the neighborhoods to avoid, the safest route from the airport, the protest planned for Thursday. Everyone else gets a search bar.
We think the family on vacation, the student abroad and the church team on mission deserve the same brief. So we build it, verify it and give it away, and we offer kits for travelers who want more.
Our aim: before every trip, every traveler knows three things. What is happening where they're going, what it means for them, and exactly what to do about it.
The name
Nepsis (νῆψις): watchful, clear-headed alertness.
It's the ancient Greek word behind "be alert and of sober mind" in 1 Peter 5:8. Awake, calm and paying attention. Not afraid. It's the posture we want every traveler to have, and it's why our tagline is Prepared, not paranoid.
Our values are rooted in faith, and our work is for every traveler. Churches and mission teams can use the Church & Mission Edition, built for groups.
